Winter has been in Winterberg for more than week.
Last weekend is was surprising first ski weekend here.
Guess this weekend will be lots of people for Winter in Winterberg.

This Winter is very special, this is season 6 and the best snow since Christmas you could ski everywhere but as Corona lockdown you are not allowed and all piste and parking lot are closed with a snow wall.
So two weeks ago I went with Elisabeth to the piste next to Branbander which you could reach by small street. Here we played a little and I walked up 30-40 m and went down just to feel like skiing. After an hour we went back and I thought I can make my own snow fun park so the ski piste Pension Walddorf is born.

The Weather forecast show us that the chance is small for white Christmas but the Ski piste in Winterberg should be OK in the coming holidays. Since Winterberg knows how to prepare them and they produce own snow, without the piste open Winterberg wiil soon be bankrupt ;-)

The early November snow. Just too bad the 20 cm of last weekend 14-15 are almost gone and forecast are worse for Christmas week. Will be like autumn.

Ski saison 2018-2019 is almost to an end. Two weeks ago I went to ski with Vincent, my friend of Tesselschade school. 1976-1979.
First time I took time to ski for 3 days.

Looks like we will be able to ski this weekend. Noticed all snow canons were fully working to produce snow when I passed them this Thursday 13 December 2018.
