Meet Manja ✨
Manja is co-owner of Arnfeldt and the person behind so many of the details that make this place feel like home. From choosing flowers and finding the perfect pillows to setting the atmosphere in every corner, she brings warmth and personality to the house. You’ll often find her serving breakfast in the morning or dinner in the evening, always with a smile and a chat. If Arnfeldt feels welcoming and lived-in, there’s a good chance Manja had something to do with it.

🌿 Favorite place on Ærø?
It used to be our own garden, but these days it’s the terrace at Arnfeldt. It’s a little kitschy (I hate to admit it, but it’s true). I love all the different corners filled with flowers and herbs, and yes—the thousand pillows. It makes me want to relax, stay a little longer, and soak in the sounds, the view, and the scents.
🍷 Dream staff meal ?
Ramen. Always. I can eat a good noodle soup any day, and it keeps me going. Although a perfectly made leverpostejsmad comes in at a very close second. 🩷

Quiet. Fairytale-like. Endless summer.
