This month, we’re celebrating our latest ‘Sidekick’ at Hotel Danmark (our take on ‘Employee of the Month’)

Agustina's journey into hospitality started in a pretty unforgettable way. Back in 2014, she was selected as a Pastry Chef for Cirque du Soleil when they visited her home country, Argentina. With her culinary background, language skills, and passion for people, one exciting opportunity quickly led to the next.

When she later moved to Copenhagen and discovered Brøchner Hotels, she didn’t hesitate for a second. Agustina joined the team in December 2024, drawn to the balance between professionalism, teamwork, and the positive atmosphere that makes Brøchner Hotels feel special.

Today, Agustina is part of the breakfast team at Hotel Danmark, serving up warm welcomes, positive energy, and feel-good mornings. For her, breakfast is more than just food… it’s about creating the kind of start to the day guests will remember long after check-out.

Her favorite part of the job?
“The interaction with our guests. Seeing their pleasant surprise when our exchange goes beyond the ordinary.”

What makes Brøchner special for Agustina?
“The way we interact with one another, with care and genuine attention. You can really feel that it matters here. It creates a sense of family. At the same time, there is a great deal of freedom in how we perform our roles, built on trust and confidence in what each of us brings to the table.”

𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗜𝗣: Agustina recommends Nonna Café, close to Hotel Danmark, for delicious cappuccinos and authentic Argentine alfajores packed with dulce de leche.

𝗙𝗨𝗡 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Agustina has a background in sports psychology and eating behaviour. She has unofficially become the breakfast team’s “wellness motivator” encouraging gym sessions, runs, hydration, and extra protein whenever she can.

Let’s give Agustina a big round of applause for bringing positivity, passion, and amazing energy to every breakfast service at Hotel Danmark. We’re lucky to have her on the team! 💫
