Where d’Angleterre Meets Royal Tradition 🤍

From the hotel, you can experience one of Copenhagen’s most cherished traditions. Each day, when the King is in residence at Amalienborg, the Royal Life Guards march through the city accompanied by their military band, making their way from the barracks in Gothersgade to Amalienborg Palace for the changing of the guard.

Follow the procession through the historic streets and arrive at Amalienborg in time to witness the ceremony and hear the Royal Life Guard Band perform on the square.

Last night in Stockholm, during the unveiling of the Falstaff Nordics Hotel Guide 2026, Else-Marie Remmen was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
