The Copenhagen Downtown hostel is situated at the very heart of the inner city right next to ‘Strøget’ and only a few minutes walk from the Central Station. It is a great place to meet other travellers or local Danes hanging out in our lounge area. Cosiness, ardent arts and a pulsating cultural life is what makes Copenhagen Downtown special. Copenhagen Downtown ligger i hjertet af indre by, tæt ved Strøget og kun få minutters gang fra Hovedbanegården. Hygge, levende kunst og et pulserende kulturliv er det, der gør Copenhagen Downtown til noget helt specielt. Om aftenen kan man finde både turister og lokale i vores cafe, mens Københavns varierede natte- og kulturliv venter lige uden for døren.

Join our B**r Holding Contest and hold it out for as long as you can. Last person standing wins a prize! 🏆

Oktoberfest is coming to Downtown on 2 October, so we are turning the bar into our own Oktoberfest celebration for the night.

We will have live music playing throughout the evening, plenty of b**r and big b**r mugs to make the whole thing feel a little more festive. Our staff will also be getting into the Oktoberfest spirit with themed outfits, while the bar gets a blue and white makeover for the occasion.

There will also be a B**r Holding Competition for anyone who thinks they have what it takes. You will have to hold a 1 L full b**r mug out in front of you for as long as possible, and the last person still holding theirs will win a prize.
Come down, grab a b**r and enjoy the evening with us. You do not need to know anything about Oktoberfest to join in, just bring yourself and be ready for a fun night at the bar.
