Lotus House are build in 2015/16. It is Danish design with Egyptian charm. Most of the furniture are designed by the holder in high quality - but locally handmade. All beds are desinged and handmade. Quality mattresses. Duvets, bedline and pillows from Denmark.
There is both a shower and bath and plenty of closet space.
A roof terrace and a garden with plants and grass, where you can relax and recharge your energy before heading to the world's largest outdoor museum. There are satelite TV in all flats/studio and free wifi all over the house.
There are spectacular views of the Nile from Lotus House - overlooking the Winter Palace and Luxor temple - all the way to the east bank on the other side of the Nile. Daily you can enjoy beautiful cruise sailing with guests from around the world. The many small motor boats that sail up the Nile for just a few dollars for the whole family. The residence is located on the west bank - the historic Egypt - a quiet area - where you will be woken by donkeys who say good morning and camels that are on tour with Tourist and looking curious through the gate while sitting drinking a cool drink on the balcony. Behind the house overlooks banana plantations and the beautiful up-lit mountain.
The rooftop is not total finish but you use it as much as you like - we have chairs and table so you can enjoy the front views of the Nile and the Temple of Luxor. Behind overlooking the fields and mountains.

In the apartment building you will find our staff:
- A security guard for day / night
- Housekeeping
- If you wish breakfast or take away lunch and dinner, that is possible too.
The House/apartments is situated in Ramla, a small district on the Nile at Luxor's West Bank. In this area you find holiday apartments, hotels, swimmingpools, restaurants and small shops for groceries. Lotus House are situated in a quiet location directly on the Nile, giving you a fantastic view.
Luxor city (east bank) across the Nile can be reached in 7 minutes (with a small motor boat or ferry) The monuments are in the west bank (such as the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Habu Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Temple of Hatchepsut) just within 10 minutes away by car.
All amenities within walking distance + most monuments within 10 minutes by bike / car or boat from the gate. From the apartment you walk in about 8 - 10 minutes to the local ferry ( to Luxor city). We can also order a private boat to pick you up at you doorstep in Lotus House. It is also possible to rent bicycles.
Alternatively we can arrange a private driver for you – also we can arrange a private tour guide as long you are guest in Lotus house you will always have a local price Just ask if you have question, we just want our guest to enjoy and feel at home.
We also arrange historical tours throughout Luxor, Hot air balloon trip, trip on the Nile - a tour to the local bazar in east bank with guide and horse carriage. Ask the manager of the Lotus house about the local prices.
We can pick you up from the airport or train station of Luxor (or even from the airport in Hurghada or Cairo)

The place was clean and comfortable, and had easy access to everything we were looking to do. Communication with Lis was quick and easy. The best part of our stay was the incredibly helpful and friedly local contact during our stay, Khaled. He helped arrange private tours of both West and East Bank attractions, feluca and camel rides, and even arranged for food after long days out in the sun. It was clear that he wanted to make sure we had the best time possible during our stay, and we all really appreciated all the tips he provided us. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Joanne31. mar - 3. apr · Lotus House Studio . Wow,how perfect was this. The appt was right on the Nile,was very clean and large. We were very happy with the appt. khaled was so helpful,he met us with a smile and basically organised any trip we wanted even down to suggesting a place for dinner and taking us there. Do take his suggestions for places to see,boat ride on the Nile ,as they were perfect . He was the star of Luxor. We felt safe while in Luxor and walked around a lot. We are glad we chose the West Bank away from the hustle. Thankyou khaled we appreciate everything that you did for us. We would highly recomend without a doubt.
