If you’re looking for paradise, you’ve found it. Our stay at Romana’s ranch was nothing short of magical.
Waking up surrounded by lush jungle, the nearby waterfalls, and pure peace and quiet all around you. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget your phone even exists. Romana was such a sweetheart from the moment we arrived, and her whole family made us feel genuinely welcome, not like guests, but like friends.
The hike through the jungle trails was stunning and such a great way to move your body while taking in breathtaking views at every turn. And the waterfall?
Absolutely worth it, a perfect spot to cool off and just soak in how beautiful this corner of the world is. This was the most romantic getaway my partner and I could have asked for. Every detail, every moment, felt special. If you want a true escape into nature with warm hospitality to match, do not hesitate to book this place. “Felt like home. Being in the woods surrounded by nature was amazing for us. We would recommend this place to anybody! The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need for cooking.

🐝💚 After the rain, the forest comes alive.

After the heavy rain we had last night here at Rancho Romana, I captured this incredible little visitor — a metallic green bee moving from flower to flower.

Its jewel-like color is completely natural, created by the microscopic structure of its body as it reflects the light.

She may be tiny, but her role is enormous. As she searches for nectar and pollen, she becomes part of one of nature’s most important processes: pollination.

Moments like this are why we always say: slow down, look closely, and let nature surprise you.
