⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an outstanding place! What a gem my wife and I stumbled onto. I know this is going to sound like a paid Google review but I honestly don't care 🤣🤷 because I was genuinely blown away by this place. I was not expecting it to be this good.
We went for a day pass and by the end of the day we were already trying to figure out how we could change our plans and rent the entire villa for our extended family. I even tried to change my flight for the next day! 😂 That's how much we enjoyed ourselves.
First of all, you absolutely cannot beat the value of the day pass. The property itself is pristine. The quality of the woodwork, the amenities and the attention to detail are impressive. My wife wanted one thing: a pool and a whirlpool bath. We would have been happy with just that. Instead we got so much more.
There is a beautiful pool, heated whirlpool bath, entertainment area, speakers that we connected to with Bluetooth, hammocks, comfortable outdoor seating, a basketball court, swings and even gym equipment. My wife is a fitness instructor and was able to film some of her workout content right there. Honestly, if I had known there was workout equipment available, we probably wouldn't have paid for a separate gym day before coming here.
A special shout-out to Nicole who greeted us and took care of us during our visit. She gave us a great tour, showed us everything we needed to know and then gave us exactly the kind of privacy we wanted. She simply let us know that she would be nearby if we needed anything and then let us enjoy the property on our own. That was perfect. She was attentive without constantly checking on us and was always available if we needed something. Nicole was spot on and made the experience even better.
We didn't even use everything the property had to offer. The entertainment room and TV were there but we didn't need them. We were too busy enjoying the pool, whirlpool bath, scenery, music and just relaxing together.
We happened to be there when there were no other guests which made it feel extra private and special. But honestly, even if other guests had been there I still think we would have had an amazing experience.
There are also options for meals and massages. We were too late to arrange a massage that day but knowing those services were available was another nice touch. You can also cook there if you prefer to bring your own food.
We originally went just for the two of us but by the end of the day we were thinking about how much our kids and extended family would love this place. The basketball court, swings and pool would have been perfect for them.
This wasn't an action-packed day. It was better than that. It was a relaxing blast. Beautiful scenery, peace, comfort, great amenities and quality time with my wife. We left feeling completely refreshed.
I don't rave about many places and I'm not someone who usually takes a lot of pictures for my Google reviews. I was so impressed here that I actually took pictures and I'm sharing them because I want people to see what I'm talking about. The pictures don't do this place justice.
If you're looking for a place to disconnect, relax, enjoy nature and spend quality time with your partner, family or friends, I honestly cannot recommend Brisal Mountain Retreat enough.
We will DEFINITELY be back the next time we're in the Dominican Republic. This place even had me thinking, "How can I figure out a way to get my own villa down here?" 😂
Outstanding experience. Absolutely worth it. Pure relaxation heaven.
