"Casa El Paraíso" is a rustic getaway situated atop cliffs overlooking Samana Bay. Constructed from natural and local materials, it's a truly one-of-a-kind way to experience the Dominican Republic and its natural beauty. Surrounded by 5000 sq. meters of tropical gardens, birds, butterflies, a pond full of colorful fish and overall amazing views, its a very special place where you can immerse yourself in nature, find tranquility and connect with your inner self and your beloved ones. "Casa El Paraíso" was built to be an extension of the local habitat. Drawing from native materials and landscape, the bungalow-style construction blends seamlessly into the surrounding jungle. All bungalows are open-design floor plans with uninterrupted views of Samana Bay and constant connectivity with the natural environment. In our extensive gardens, native flora and fauna grow wild and protected. Several species of birds and butterflies call this area home and can be seen. Samana Bay is home to Atlantic Humpback whales that return every year from January to April and may be spotted from the property. All features of the house are available to guests including but not limited to the social common area, full kitchen, pool area, whirlpool bath, poolside bar, sitting area, outdoor dining patio and backyard. On arrival, the host (Nora or José) will welcome you and provide a tour of the property. They will be available to recommend activities and restaurants, and assist in any way to ensure you have a unique and memorable stay. Our local cook, Jobina, will prepare Dominican breakfast daily (included in price). The breakfast includes assorted tropical fruits, eggs, and native dishes such as fried yucca and mangú (mashed plantains). We encourage guests to try local fare in nearby towns for lunch and dinner. If you prefer to stay in however, for an additional fee our cook is happy to prepare local dishes. We can additionally arrange for a professional Italian chef to come to the house to prepare whatever you may be craving. Soft drinks are included and several national and international types of alcohol are available for purchase (by bottle only). At your request we can make a list of your favorite drinks and meals so they are available when you arrive. Housekeeping services are provided daily (included in price). We are happy to prepare picnic baskets for your excursions, with light lunch snacks, soft drinks and alcohol. This service has an additional charge. Our personnel will be available to cook and waitress from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (included in price). There are private yoga sessions with an instructor available, as well as various therapeutic massages and reiki sessions all within the compound. This service has an additional charge. If you feel adventurous, we can arrange an excursion on a 28 feet catamaran which can be half day or full day, in the company of the captain José. We suggest booking these activities in advance. The host will most likely be in the property every day to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The house has no air conditioning as there is always a pleasant breeze coming from the ocean. In any case each room is equipped with a standing/ceiling fan. Local handyman "Pancho" will be staying inside the compound (adjacent house) to ensure the safety of our guests. The property has private parking space for two vehicles. The house has few enclosed spaces and is therefore not considered safe for unsupervised children. ----------------------------------------------- "Casa El Paraíso" es un refugio rústico situado sobre acantilados con vistas a la Bahía de Samaná. Si quieres tener una experiencia única de inmersión total en la naturaleza, donde puedas disfrutar de paz y un silencio solo interrumpido por la brisa, el mar y el canto de los pajaritos y grillos, si quieres despertarte viendo a las ballenas jugar desde la comodidad de tu habitación, si quieres pasar tiempo de calidad con tu pareja o tu familia o si simplemente quieres tirarte en la hamaca y disfrutar de un buen libro, este es tu lugar. "Casa El Paraíso" es una casa de cinco habitaciones, cada una con su baño privado, todas ellas mirando hacia la hermosa bahía de Samaná. Se puede rentar la casa completa, una habitación o varias habitaciones. Incluimos el desayuno. También dispone de servicio domèstico hasta las 5:00 p.m., parqueo dentro de la propiedad, whirlpool bath y piscina.
