BIOHOSTAL MINDO. THANK YOUR COMMENT.
The owner personally welcomes you into the hostal and immediately explai s to you everything you need to know about your accommodation and the things to do in Mindo. He is quite environmentally focused and will explain to you all the measures the hostal takes to help the environment. Several times in my short stay the owner and staff went out of their way to help by taking care of my rain soaked footwear (no charge) and getting up at 5:00 am (never had hostal do this so early) to prepare breakfast for several of us leaving extra early. Rooms/bed very comfortable with plenty of hot water but the four levels of common area are quite special with a top level looking into the mountain/forest area and hummingbirds sharing your space thanks to feeders hung on balcony.
