This Earth Day, we’re proud to share that Enchanted Expeditions is taking a major step toward protecting the planet. We are in the process of implementing a carbon offsetting program for our yachts, with the goal of moving toward carbon neutrality.

Our guests will have the option to contribute to this initiative, supporting verified global projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, as well as local non-profits in the Galápagos dedicated to preserving its unique ecosystems and wildlife. From protecting native species to restoring habitats and empowering local communities, your support will make a tangible difference.

At Enchanted Expeditions, we care deeply about the planet we explore with our guests every day. By taking responsibility for our carbon footprint and supporting meaningful conservation, we hope to lead by example and inspire others to do the same.

We’re excited to fully launch this program before the end of 2026, and we can’t wait to share more details on how you can participate in protecting the Galápagos and the world we all share. Together, we can explore responsibly, travel consciously, and care for our planet, because every action counts 🌏💚

🐢 Incredible conservation success story in Galápagos! For the first time in 180 years, giant tortoises are walking the landscapes of Floreana Island 🌵✨

Once the tortoises were released... "Some paused. Some immediately stretched their necks and looked around. Within minutes, they were grazing, exploring, disappearing slowly into the vegetation. 🎊 Carnival in Ecuador is one of the country’s most playful & colorful celebrations! 🇪🇨 It blends Indigenous harvest festivals and Spanish & African influences with Catholic rituals, making it cultural and spiritual. Celebrated in February or early March (just before Lent), Carnival marks a time of indulgence, community togetherness and fun, before the reflective season begins.

‌🎭 Across Ecuador, Carnival looks a little different depending on where you are - you may see: live music, dancing, parades with decorated floats & traditional costumes, & delicious food! 🥘 🎉
