Our Story

Pashpanchu lodge story begins in 2016 when Ecuadorian founder Diego worked with the Pompeya community at Yasuni National Park in search of adventures and service of amazon communities. He was captivates by the wildlife and cultures, and in 2017, Diego started a social projects at the service of the communities.

This relationship began with the contact and mutual knowledge among the habitants of the community of Pompeya and Diego who kindly gave on a series of workshops aimed at improving the service from tourism. Months later, he gave workshops focused in sustainable tourism and community service.

He immediately fell in love with the mysterious of the Kichwa culture and its biodiversity,administering the tourist places of the community. With the help of 15 local employees, Pashpanchu lodge was officially opened in 2018 with fifteen guest rooms.
