“I heard a whispering voice at dawn"سمعت صوتًا هامساً في السحر"... This poem by Omar Khayyam describes exactly what happened to me. That faint voice of the white Bashneen —the voice that called out to me like Odysseus’s Sirens, guiding me to find the sacred white Bashneen in the Egyptian Delta.Against all odds and despite its suffering, it has not gone extinct. This white flower blooms at night, completing the journey of the blue flower that blooms by day. It is the flower of purity and wisdom, and the deep connection between them.Listen to your heart, even when it speaks in a faint whisper. Like a lotus blooming after the long night, here we are, blossoming once again. ✨We return, carrying the white Bashneen beside the blue, just as they flourished in the time of our ancient ancestors. We return to unite with the sacred Nile and listen once more to the wisdom whispered by the ancient mountain stones.Here we are, reborn in the eternal embrace of our mother, Isis.

We listened to that hidden voice whispering from the Nile Delta:The white lotus (Bashnin) called out to us: “I have not vanished yet—but time is running out. I am all that remains of our ancestors’ wisdom and purity.”Our quest to find the white lotus took nearly a year. We searched across the Delta—a land shaped like the sacred flower itself—until we found it clinging to life in a narrow, forgotten space, struggling against pollution and neglect.Only a fragile remnant had survived, kept alive by the quiet devotion of a few local farmers. Against all odds, it endured.Today, the white lotus stands proudly beside the blue. Moving it to a safe, new sanctuary was more than just a physical step—it was a vital mission and a new birth.

Like a lotus flower that closed in fear of the darkness creeping into its heart,
we closed our old place where we once bloomed.
The alternative was to sell ourselves to the darkness and cruelty—
to abandon our principles,
to abandon those who worked with us as one family.
And this is what we refused.
It wasn’t easy for us to let go of this nest we built brick by brick,
but it was the only salvation for our souls:
to heed the voice of our hearts,
to follow the lotus,
and move forward together—
to open like a lotus flower under the light of a new sun,
in a new place.

Today, upon the precipice of the Queens’ Valley,
our blue daughter drifts from southern whispers to northern winds.
A wild new “Bashneen” lotus blooms, utterly unbound—
an extension of our garden’s firstborn, “HaYa,”
who summoned us to shatter chains of control and dominion,
that we might sow her sacred seeds across Egypt’s holy river. Thanks our sisters
