Egypt will charge a unified $15 fee for entry and transit visas issued at its ports of entry, as well as visas and consular services provided by Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad, starting 1 January 2027, according to media reports.

NEWS regarding the mandatory National Park fees for the National Park Ras Mohamed:
The increase of the fees has been postponed to 2027. This means the mandatory National Park fees will remain for non-Egyptian nationals of 7 years and older USD 5 per day and USD 10 per night/24-hours, per person until further notice.

All National Park fees are now to be paid by card only, at the gate, at the National Park booth between 08.00 and 15.00.

In reference to recent news circulated by some newspapers and websites in the past hours, claiming that Egypt has raised the entry visa fees to the country from $25 to $45, as part of legislative amendments to Law No. 175 of 2025 regarding the imposition of a fee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs buildings, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities confirms that these reports are completely unfounded, and that no executive decisions have been taken regarding an increase in entry visa fees to Egypt.
The only decision currently taken is the determination of the maximum limit for the visa fees, not the implementation of an increase.

⚠️ The Ministry stresses that what is being circulated are merely rumors, confirming that any information related to entry visas or otherwise will be announced, as is customary, through official statements issued by the relevant executive authorities in the state.

⚠️ The Ministry calls upon all media outlets and social media users to exercise accuracy and to communicate with official authorities before publishing any information in this regard.
