We braced ourselves yesterday evening for the eclipse but didn't see what we had expected due to low clouds. Still beautiful though!
Looking forward to meeting our guests from Holland on Saturday. 🙂

Haven't posted in a while. But when it's quiet don't think we're sitting here idle, in fact completely the opposite!
Redecorated our bedroom and gave our Paris Room a makeover. But our favourite was to enhance our upper terrace from being a boring blank space - to making a lovely area and sanctuary so we can appreciate the spectacular views.

We've had a LOT of rain recently but now it's time to get back into gear and start painting, gardening and reflecting on happier times!

All looking beautiful outdoors at the moment. Can't wait for some of this lovely sunshine 🌞.
Makes outdoor activities much more fun!
25 degrees tomorrow apparently. Shorts are coming out.

Had a lot of strong winds this last week. So today we are set to work on the garden 🪏, repairing the fence and blown down plants. Picking our oranges and pruning mandarin trees. Lots of weeding and strimming needed. The lemons 🍋 are coming on nicely and chicken run needs a bit more work and weeding ready for the spring 🌼.

One thing we do enjoy this time of the year is fresh produce. This is something we come across on our hikes and walks and is great for you. No chemical sprays, no sitting in boxes in supermarkets - hand picked fresh from the tree! We have several orange, satsuma and lemon trees at Vista Bella and hoping to plant our own vegetable troughs this year too. Trying to follow a more healthier and organic diet.
We may also invest in some chickens too!
