La Jarilla is ideal for block bookings for several families with children, small conferences, yoga and wellness retreats, teambuilding, painting and cooking courses. The Cortijo was found in ruins in 2004 by Simon Munro Kerr, and after years of hard work and restoration was completed in 2008. Every door, window and reja was reclaimed from all corners of Andalucia. With traditional red roof tiles, chestnut beams, cane ceilings and harled walls Cortijo de la Jarilla is a traditional 19th century Andalucian construction. The Cortijo now consists of three self-catering cottages and Simon’s house. Two of the self-catering cottages are attached and interconnecting, when required.
