En La Finca Golf trabajamos con agua 100 % regenerada y utilizamos sensores de humedad, una estación meteorológica y un software avanzado de riego para saber cuándo, dónde y cuánto regar.

Además, las mejoras en nuestro sistema de riego permiten ahorrar más de un 10 % de agua, mientras que la reducción de más de 13 hectáreas de césped irrigado disminuye todavía más nuestras necesidades de riego.

Gestionar cada gota de forma responsable también nos permite cuidar el campo que quieres seguir jugando hoy, mañana y en el futuro.

Water is one of the biggest challenges facing golf. It is also an essential part of the experience on the course.

At La Finca Golf, we use 100% reclaimed water, together with moisture sensors, a weather station and advanced irrigation software to determine when, where and how much to irrigate.

Improvements to our irrigation system have also helped us save more than 10% of our water, while reducing the area of irrigated turf by more than 13 hectares has further reduced our irrigation needs.

Managing every drop responsibly also means looking after the course you want to keep playing today, tomorrow and for years to come.

En La Finca Golf, más de 13 hectáreas de césped de regadío han sido sustituidas por paisajes autóctonos, incorporando árboles, arbustos y plantas tapizantes que favorecen la creación de nuevos hábitats para la fauna.

Entre ellos, el humedal situado entre los hoyos 8 y 17 es un importante lugar de descanso para las aves migratorias.

Esta transformación también nos permite reducir el consumo de agua, fertilizantes, energía y combustible, al tiempo que mejora la estética y la jugabilidad del campo.

Cuidar del campo no es solo mantenerlo en las mejores condiciones para jugar. También es preservar todo aquello que hace único al entorno en el que jugamos.

A golf course is about much more than fairways and greens. It is nature.

At La Finca Golf, more than 13 hectares of irrigated turf have been replaced with native landscapes, introducing trees, shrubs and groundcover plants that help create new habitats for wildlife.

Among them, the wetland between holes 8 and 17 provides an important resting place for migratory birds.

This transformation also helps us reduce water, fertiliser, energy and fuel consumption, while enhancing both the appearance and playability of the course.

Because looking after the course isn’t just about keeping it in the best possible condition for play. It’s also about preserving everything that makes the surroundings we play in so unique.

En La Finca Golf hemos incorporado la siega autónoma en las zonas amplias de rough, una tecnología que nos permite optimizar los recursos destinados al mantenimiento del campo.

Esto permite un corte más frecuente, lo que mejora el aspecto y la jugabilidad del campo, al tiempo que elimina el uso de combustibles fósiles y reduce significativamente la contaminación acústica asociada a la maquinaria pesada.

Más de 1.000 horas de trabajo pueden reasignarse ahora a áreas clave como el riego, la recopilación de datos y la preparación del campo.

Innovar en la gestión del campo también significa cuidar su futuro y mejorar la experiencia de quienes lo juegan.

At La Finca Golf, we have introduced autonomous mowing across our wider rough areas, a technology that allows us to optimise the resources dedicated to course maintenance.

This enables more frequent mowing, improving both the appearance and playability of the course, while eliminating the use of fossil fuels and significantly reducing the noise pollution associated with heavy machinery.

More than 1,000 working hours can now be reassigned to key areas such as irrigation, data collection and course preparation.

Innovating in the way we manage the course also means looking after its future and enhancing the experience for those who play it.
