🌴 A Little More Shade at Los Chozones 🌴
One of the biggest challenges we have at Los Chozones is trying to cater for everyone’s needs throughout the year.
In the winter, many of our motorhome and caravan guests prefer plenty of sunshine to keep their solar panels working efficiently. In the summer, however, a little extra shade is always appreciated!
We hope we’ve found a good balance.
We’ve recently planted four more palm trees alongside our top pitches, carefully positioning them to the north of each pitch. This still leaves plenty of room for awnings while providing some welcome shade during the hottest months.
The palms will take a little while to become fully established, but we were incredibly fortunate that our neighbours were redesigning their garden and very kindly gifted them to us rather than seeing them go to waste. A huge thank you to them! ❤️
After a long afternoon of digging, lifting and planting, they’re now in their new home. There are still a few finishing touches to do once they’ve settled, and the support stakes will need to remain for around a year while the roots establish.
We think they’ll add even more to the peaceful, garden atmosphere that makes Los Chozones such a relaxing place to stay.
We can’t wait to see them flourish over the coming months! 🌴☀️
