A few years ago I, John, fell in love with all the Costa del Sol has to offer... the 300+ days of sunshine, mountains, outdoor activities year round, the breathtaking natural beauty and easy to access Malaga Airport are all a bonus. I'm now continuing my passion to give the same expert attention to guests as I did for so many years at my highly rated Amsterdam Bed and Breakfast, but now with much more sun.
In April 2018 I took over the only hotel in the traditional village of Alhaurin el Grande, Spain. With my careful attention to detail and thoughtful guidance the hotel has been renovated by an amazing crew. All interior spaces are fully updated with the highest quality furniture and items no one would expect from an ApartHotel. Actually, every single item in the hotel was personally chosen by me with your entire experience in mind.
The seventeen all studio apartment Hotel la Palmera is in the center of the village near the best restaurants, within minutes - two major golf courses, and 25 minutes away from four of the most popular beach towns... You will enjoy how the hotel is ideally situated for one to enjoy the local natural beauty and activities without being locked into a tourist town.
