One of the pleasures of this part of Spain is that the journey itself often becomes part of the experience.
Quiet roads winding through olive groves. White villages appearing unexpectedly on distant hillsides. Long lunches in places you hadn’t planned to stop. It’s the sort of region best explored slowly.

By late May, breakfast outdoors has become fully part of the rhythm of the finca again.
Fresh coffee. Warm air. Quiet views across the valley before the heat of the day fully arrives.
There are certainly worse ways to begin the morning! 🤣

The sign may have only come out for the TV wedding, but one of the loveliest things about quieter places like this is the way that romance can linger!

Quiet calm. Reconnection. Long conversations. Slow mornings. Evenings with nowhere else to be. Time spent together without distractions. 🩷

We’re taking a couple of quieter days this week to celebrate our wedding anniversary (16 years today!).

It still feels slightly surreal sometimes that this life - the finca, the hills, the guests, the fragrance business, Rocky, all of it - grew from one big leap into the Spanish unknown together 7 years ago!

Thank you to everyone who's supported us and become part of the adventure along the way - we're very grateful!

There’s a lot of excitement locally at the moment around the latest developments at the Caminito del Rey.
The new suspension bridge being added to the gorge route is set to become one of the most spectacular sections yet - and it’s another reminder of just how extraordinary the landscape around us really is.

It’s one of the many reasons people fall in love with this part of Andalusia.
