Meet our Team | Recepción
Detrás de Recepción hay mucho más que un mostrador. Hay conversaciones, risas, idiomas, soluciones, paciencia… y, sobre todo, personas.
Hoy queremos presentarles a Matias, Evelyn y Nathalie, tres de las personas que forman parte de nuestro equipo de Recepción y que, cada una con su personalidad y experiencia, hacen que este departamento sea lo que es.
Matias lleva más de una década con nosotros. Durante todos estos años se ha convertido en un auténtico referente de Recepción, tanto para sus compañeros como para muchos de nuestros huéspedes. Su entrega, su respeto por el oficio y su compromiso con hacer las cosas bien se reflejan en cada día de trabajo. A eso se suman su capacidad para encontrar soluciones, su experiencia y ese particular sentido del humor que le caracteriza, haciendo de él una de esas personas que dejan huella y que muchos clientes recuerdan incluso después de volver a casa.
Evelyn es también una de nuestras veteranas. Su serenidad, su calma y su buen hacer son algunas de sus señas de identidad, pero tiene una habilidad que va mucho más allá: es capaz de transformar una queja en una oportunidad para recuperar la confianza de un huésped y, muchas veces, convertir a un cliente descontento en alguien que quiere volver. Su capacidad para escuchar, su cercanía y esa manera tan amable de tratar a las personas hacen que incluso las situaciones más complicadas puedan terminar de la mejor manera posible.
Nathalie nos aporta esa frescura especial de quien ha vivido mucho. Gran parte de su vida estuvo ligada a Bélgica, pero fue al descubrir Canarias cuando se dio cuenta de que, quizá sin saberlo, su corazón tenía alma sureña. Aunque lleva menos tiempo con nosotros, desde el primer día nos ha demostrado su gran competencia, su profesionalidad y sus excelentes habilidades idiomáticas. Nathalie aporta al equipo esa mezcla de experiencias, culturas y formas de ver la vida que lo hace todavía más especial.
Matias, Evelyn y Nathalie son solo tres caras de un equipo de Recepción mucho más grande, y poco a poco iremos presentándoles al resto.
Hoy queríamos que conocieran un poco más a quienes están detrás de ese mostrador y que, cada día, hacen mucho más que recibir a nuestros huéspedes.
Porque los edificios se construyen con materiales…
pero la hospitalidad se construye con personas. ❤️
🇬🇧 Meet our Team | Reception
Behind Reception, there is much more than a desk. There are conversations, laughter, languages, solutions, patience… and, above all, people.
Today, we would like to introduce you to Matias, Evelyn and Nathalie, three of the people who make up our Reception team and who, each with their own personality and experience, help make this department what it is.
Matias has been with us for more than a decade. Over the years, he has become a true reference point within Reception, both for his colleagues and for many of our guests. His dedication, his respect for his profession and his commitment to doing things well are reflected in everything he does. Add to that his ability to find solutions, his experience and that particular sense of humour that is so much a part of who he is, and you have someone who leaves a lasting impression and whom many guests remember long after returning home.
Evelyn is also one of our Reception veterans. Her serenity, calmness and professionalism are some of the qualities that define her, but she has a skill that goes far beyond that: she is able to turn a complaint into an opportunity to regain a guest's trust and, many times, turn a dissatisfied guest into someone who wants to come back. Her ability to listen, her warmth and the kindness with which she treats people mean that even the most difficult situations can often end in the best possible way.
Nathalie brings that special freshness that comes from someone who has experienced a lot in life. Much of her life was connected to Belgium, but it was after discovering the Canary Islands that she realised that, perhaps without even knowing it, her heart had a southern soul. Although she has been with us for less time, from her very first day she has shown us how capable and professional she is, together with her excellent language skills. Nathalie brings to the team a wonderful mix of experiences, cultures and different ways of seeing life, making the team even more special.
Matias, Evelyn and Nathalie are just three faces of a much larger Reception team, and little by little, we'll be introducing you to the rest.
Today, we simply wanted you to get to know a little more about the people behind that desk, the people who, every day, do much more than welcome our guests.
Because buildings are built with materials…
