🐢 There is currently a good chance of seeing a turtle on our grounds, as the animals are actively foraging. In summer, they bury their eggs deep in the dry ground before the hatchlings hatch in September - just in time for the first rains. This species of tortoise can live to be 50 to 60 years old. Although these animals appear deeply relaxed, we ask you not to disturb them, as they are under strict species protection.
🐢 Actualmente hay muchas posibilidades de ver una tortuga en nuestros terrenos, ya que los animales están buscando comida activamente. En verano, entierran sus huevos en lo más profundo de la tierra seca antes de que las crías eclosionen en septiembre, justo a tiempo para las primeras lluvias. Esta especie de tortuga puede llegar a vivir entre 50 y 60 años. Aunque estos animales parecen profundamente relajados, te pedimos que no los molestes, ya que están bajo estricta protección de especie.
🐢 Derzeit besteht eine gute Chance, eine Schildkröte auf unserem Gelände zu sehen, denn die Tiere sind aktiv auf Nahrungssuche. Im Sommer vergraben sie dann ihre Eier tief im trockenen Boden, bevor im September – pünktlich mit den ersten Regenfällen – die Jungtiere schlüpfen. Diese Art Landschildkröten können 50 bis 60 Jahre alt werden. Diese Tiere wirken zwar tiefentspannt, dennoch bitten wir sie nicht zu stören, denn sie stehen unter strengem Artenschutz.
