🌟 Meet the Staff! 🌟
Martina, 26 years old 🇮🇹 NICEDAY☀️
Meet Martina: she’s been working in hostels since 2018, so by now she has probably seen pretty much everything a hostel can throw at you. 😂
Outside Kabul, she’s a DJ, photographer and climbing enthusiast, which already tells you that sitting still for too long probably isn’t really her thing. 🎧📸🧗♀️
She’s also a huge lover of nature. Give her the sea, a mountain, a forest, a random path leading somewhere or basically anything that involves being outside and she’s happy. She loves exploring, moving around and finding new places to disconnect from the noise of the city.
And apparently, her permanently good mood has a scientific explanation: the power of her surname, Belgiorno aka “nice day”. ☀️
Music, climbing, photography, nature and an apparently genetically inherited good mood… that’s Martina.

Karin, 30 years old 🇸🇰 Karin Jedličková
Meet Karin, a lifelong traveller who basically grew up on the road. She spent parts of her childhood between Slovakia and Croatia, with her family living in a caravan, so travelling was part of her life long before it became a hobby. 🚐🌍
She studied Tourism and started working abroad while still at university, taking her from Egypt to Mallorca, New Zealand, Malta and now Barcelona. But for Karin, travelling has never been about collecting countries. It’s about actually experiencing the places, meeting people and discovering how they live.
That’s also why she chose hostels. After working in luxury 5-star hotels, she discovered the hostel world in New Zealand and fell in love with the atmosphere. Here, you’re not just the person behind the reception desk you become part of the hostel’s stories, people and little moments.
When she’s not working, you’ll probably find her travelling, swimming in the sea, hiking, reading fantasy books, going to concerts or spending time with her family, friends and her dog Sandy. 🐕🌊
Her life motto? “Seek the discomfort.” Which probably explains why staying in one place for too long has never really been her thing
