Every June, Barcelona celebrates one of its most iconic nights: Sant Joan
On the night of June 23rd, the city fills with fireworks, music, beach parties, and people celebrating the start of summer until sunrise.
Locals gather with friends and family to share coca de Sant Joan, drink cava, and enjoy the atmosphere across the city, especially by the sea.
Barceloneta Beach becomes one of the main spots of the celebration, with music, bonfires, and thousands of people enjoying the shortest night of the year.
If you are visiting Barcelona in June, Sant Joan is something you should experience at least once.
Expect fireworks in every neighborhood and a lively atmosphere all night long.
