The city commemorates Santa Eulàlia, who met her end at the hands of the Romans after enduring terrible tortures at the age of only 13. Barcelona’s co-patron saint, along with La Mercè, Santa Eulàlia is a special favourite of children. New year's Eve if you don’t want to stay at home, go with your grapes and bring your friends and family to see and enjoy a big fireworks, music, light and water show at Magic Fountain of Montjuïc. The show will start at 11.30 pm and continue until roughly 12.10!

Shopping Night Barcelona is celebrated on December 1, in which the establishments of the Paseo del Gracia open their doors until 1 am to provide with their clients, to carry out activities and, in some cases, to do Discounts on some of its products. This year, the theme of the event will be Alice in Wonderland, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the work. In the promotional posters the designer Ágata Ruiz de la Prada appears as The Queen of Hearts while the role of Alicia belongs to the 'influencer' Laura Escanes.
