Espacios para encontrarse, crear y compartir. El Hotel España 4* está situado en pleno centro histórico de Barcelona, al lado de: La Rambla, el Gran Teatre del Liceu, y el Barrio Gótico. Inaugurado en 1859, fue decorado posteriormente por el célebre arquitecto Modernista Lluís Domènech i Montaner. El hotel siempre ha sido considerado una pequeña joya del Modernismo en Barcelona. Totalmente rehabilitado en 2010 combina un moderno interiorismo con el clasicismo del edificio del siglo XIX. El servicio de restauración del hotel está a cargo del chef Martín Berasategui.

Ayer celebramos el renacer de un icono. ✨

El 1 de octubre abrimos un nuevo capítulo en la historia en nuestro hotel
Y no se trataba de empezar de nuevo. Todo lo contrario: de volver a mirar aquello que siempre nos ha hecho únicos, recuperarlo, cuidarlo y llevarlo hacia el futuro.

Nuestra arquitectura modernista, nuestra gastronomía, nuestra cultura y nuestra conexión con Barcelona fueron el punto de partida de una noche en la que redescubrimos el hotel a través del arte, el diseño, la música y, sobre todo, de las personas.

Look up, and there’s a story waiting.

In Greek mythology, the Nereids were sea nymphs, symbols of the beauty and serenity of the Mediterranean. They were also believed to protect sailors and travelers, guiding them safely through their journeys.

At Hotel España, they found another place to live.🌊

Ramon Casas brought these mythological figures into the Sirens Room, where they have watched over generations of travelers, conversations and encounters in Barcelona.

More than a century later, they’re still here.

Perhaps some stories aren’t meant to stay in the past.
