The beautiful tree-lined Rambla del Raval is now the focal point of the neighbourhood. Of course, you’re just a stones throw away from the World famous La Rambla, with its street buskers, restaurants, bars, kiosks, news stands, flower sellers and mime artists, there’s never a dull moment on this street.This historic “Barrio” offers a multitude of cultural places, such as the remains of the roman city, the Jewish quarter with its original buildings from the 12th century, the Plaza Real with its palm trees, fountain, terraces and lamp posts designed by Antoni Gaudi. Naturally no visit to Barcelona is complete without seeing the majestic gothic Cathedral, the stunning Palau de Musica or if that’s not enough for you, there is also the Liceo opera house and the magnificent Palau Guell designed by Gaudi. The metro station on the Rambla (green line – L3) will take you directly to FC Barcelona’s world famous stadium the “Camp Nou”. If you are renting a car, there are various public parking spots nearby.
