The living room has a large double sleeping sofa, where you can sit back and look at the flat screen or watch a DVD. The floor is covered with beautiful original Catalan ceramic tiles that perfectly match the brightly coloured walls. There's a large coffee table to put your glass of wine on while you relax. The

bedroom is situated right beside the living room and has 2 table lamps on either side of the bed. There's an abundance of closet space and the doors open onto a cosy little private terrace with a table and 2 chairs. If you're staying in the winter and it gets a bit chilly, just switch on the heating, a real all year round spot. The modern bathroom is fitted with new fixtures and has a large shower with transparent glass sliding doors. It's brightly lit, with the light tan wall tiles giving it a warm a cosy feeling. If you feel like a home cooked meal, the kitchen is ideal for you. Fully equipped and built-in, you can make use of the dishwasher, microwave, grill, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. This apartment has a WIFI Internet connection, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, air-conditioning, elevator, fans and blinds if you want privacy. This cosy apartment is located just 5 minutes from Gran Via Les Corts Catalanes, one of the most beautiful and chic streets in the whole of Barcelona. The metro stop “Sant Antoni” is right beside you and the other stop, “Urgell” is even closer for you and from there it’s just a 5 minutes metro ride right into the heart of the city centre. Don’t bother with a taxi to the airport either, as there’s an airport shuttle bus stop right outside the door. Found in the Eixample area, with its rational grid layout, the leafy, light filled Eixample defines Barcelona’s personality. The apartment is far enough away from the crowed city centre if you just want a quiet relaxing stay, however as previously stated, its only 5 minutes from party centre downtown. A short walk along Gran Via will take you to “Passeig De Gracia” with its designer stores, restaurants, glorious turn of the century architecture and of course the world famous houses built by Barcelona’s favourite son “Antoni Gaudi”, CASA BATLO and THE PEDRERA. These two houses are a perfect example of the genius of the man and are a must see for any visitor to this great city. A short stroll from there will take you down to the “Placa Catalunya” one of the most beautiful placa’s in the whole of Europe. With its large department stores, bars, restaurants and some of the most daring architecture in the city, this truly is a sight to behold. If you’re the type who likes to go exploring and find hidden treasures, why not try the City famous “St Antoni Market”. Situated under a giant marquis, this is a slice of authentic Catalan life with one market exclusively for clothes and the other for all the fresh meat, fish, fruit and veg you can imagine.
