Stayed for 7 nights in September 2015

We just came last Saturday September 19th 2015 back to home from Casa Nora where we spent a charming & sunny week.
We want express the highest satisfaction of staying here. Jackie is a perfect owner in all means. As we arrived late evening about 9, Jackie was informed about it, we found a gratis bottle of cold rose, water, cheese, bread, eggs in the fridge! Thanks for this Jackie!

There is actually not much to add different for previous reviews, it is like this, we can just confirm: place is excellent to explore Costa Brava, house is very comfortable and quiet, pool is deep and clean with sea view as in pictures. Home is in a very good condition with all amenities you can expect, it is more home away from home, not like other rent homes we met in some places before.

If we will go next time to Costa Brava, we definitely would like to stay there.

My husband, 15 year old daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful three weeks at Casa Nora. The villa suited our needs perfectly with its well equipped kitchen, sitting room - a cool retreat from the mid-day heat, dining area and outside terrace where we enjoyed a BBQ. Downstairs the two bedrooms have large windows that let in a cool breeze overlooking the back lawn and a modern shower room with plenty of hot water but the jewel in the crown for us was the beautiful swimming pool with its roman steps and it's absolutely magnificent views of the sea and Isles Medes where we enjoyed many a relaxing day lying in the warmth of the Spanish sun. The villa is in a quiet, private location on the hill above playa de Pals only five minutes drive away from a fantastically stocked supermarket and all the little beach shops and restaurants. Jackie and Dennis were great 'hosts' answering my queries helpfully both before and after our arrival and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Casa Nora to anybody or to return.

We have had some citrus trees planted in the garden. Hopefully, we will soon be picking our own lemons and limes for our G & T's.

Hi Jackie and Denis

LAST WEEK AT BEAUTIFUL CASA NORA

Just a short note to say how much we all enjoyed last week on the Costa Brava. Casa Nora is one of the very best properties we have ever rented with fabulous views and peaceful surroundings. The property is so home from home comfortable – we used every one of the seating areas and enjoyed every minute of our time there.

We were lucky with the weather; the day before we arrived there had been heavy rain but we had pretty much full sunshine for the entire week. We made trips to Cadaques, Estartit and down the coast as far as Blanes. The gardens at Cap Roig are among the best I have visited abroad and we also made it to Marimurtra outside Blanes which was well worth the effort. Pals is a lovely town and we had a fabulous, great value meal consisting of a taster menu at La Cort in Peratallada. Finally, we had an enjoyable Saturday in Barcelona before flying home – on time!

Thank you for the information, books, binoculars and 70s music provided in the property plus the colour booklet supplied when we booked back in January and the stand-up calendar which we are still using! Our previous two weeks in the Loire and Dordogne regions of France were very enjoyable but we all agreed as soon as we arrived that I had definitely left the best until last this year!

Mary Rose & Jane, Scotland (STAYED SEPTEMBER 2013)

Sitting drinking in the views on the last evening in the villa. It's been a terrific two weeks with plenty to do and lots of sun. We would recommend:

a) Going to the local markets (Tourist Info Office have days of when on).

b) Walking the coastal routes between all the small towns/villages around Sa Riera, Sa Tuna and on towards Cap Roig (Botanical Gardens).

c) Cycling through the rice fields and up the River Ter.

d) A day on Platja Nudista.

e) 100 lengths of the pool daily.

f) Booking another holiday with you.

Family Smekal, Prague (STAYED JULY 2013)

We enjoyed the week in Casa Nora plenty of things to do and really beautiful beaches, the one we liked most was Sa Tuna. For a change, we made a one day trip to the Pyrenees to the Nuria Valley, it was worth the trip and we can recommend it.

There are really beautiful towns nearby, Begur, Pals, Peratellada, Palau-Sator. The house is great, it is a really quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the view and the kids the pool. Thank you for letting us stay here.
