🌘 One of the most spectacular astronomical events of our lifetime is coming to Benidorm.
On 12 August 2026, a rare solar eclipse will be visible across Spain. In Benidorm, the Moon will cover around 99.5% of the Sun just before sunset, creating an extraordinary spectacle over the Mediterranean.
I've selected some of the best places to experience it:
📍 Balcón del Mediterráneo
📍 La Cruz de Benidorm
📍 Poniente Beach
📍 Levante Beach
📍 Tossal de la Cala
📍 Serra Gelada
📍 Albir Lighthouse
Each location offers a unique view, from panoramic viewpoints to wide open beaches with an uninterrupted western horizon.
⚠️ Thousands of visitors are expected to travel to the Costa Blanca for this rare event. ✨ Although Benidorm won't experience totality, seeing 99.5% of the Sun disappear as it sets over the Mediterranean will be an unforgettable sight.
Imagine standing on a Benidorm beach as the sun suddenly disappears in the middle of summer...Would this be on your bucket list? Yes or no? 🌘
