Competa has a market day every Saturday. Situated in the main car park it offers a huge variety of goods. Local produce, home made artisan products, clothes and cookware.

Las Margaritas is an apartment situated in a character building that oozes charm. Comfortable and well laid out it is located in a quiet but central location a few minutes walk from the main square, Plaza Almijara.

Competa is a picturesque village with beautiful panoramic views and a central bar lined plaza overlooking the 16th Century Church. A traditional Pueblo Blanco the town offers a great base for a range of different activities, walking, cycling, horse riding, swimming in the local pool or just relaxing in one of the many great restaurants. There are buses to Malaga via Torre Del Mar and a free car park just up from the Tourist Office.
