What a summer we’ve had! Our second here at Finca la Vida, and so much to be thankful for. ☀️

We’ve been awarded Airbnb Superhost status again, for another consecutive quarter — with 68 stays and a lovely five-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

But what makes us happiest is knowing how much you’ve enjoyed being here.

To all our wonderful guests who have stayed over the past three months, thank you. For choosing us, for your lovely reviews and kind messages, and for appreciating this special place we love calling home.

It’s been such a pleasure welcoming you, whether it was your first visit or you were returning for another little escape to the mountains. We love sharing the peace, the views, our animals and a little of finca life with you.

We hope you’ve gone home feeling rested, happy and with some lovely memories. It would be wonderful to see you here again. 💛

On October 5, 6, and 7, the section of Loma de la Sepultura lane indicated in the image will be closed due to concrete pouring work.

Residents are requested to park their vehicles outside the area marked in red during this period to facilitate vehicle access and exit and allow the work to proceed smoothly.

The best news — Mark and Fiona have just booked their third stay at Finca La Vida! 🤍

They returned to The Guest House for ten days this year, and next year they’ll be staying with us for a whole fortnight.

Having guests return once is special. Knowing they want to come back for a third time is the greatest compliment we could receive.

We absolutely love having you here, Mark and Fiona. We can’t wait to welcome you back — and yes, the fresh bread will be waiting! 🍞

“A lovingly designed place to stay in a wonderful landscape with breathtaking scenery. There was nothing missing during my stay, and I felt warmly welcomed and supported with every question. The animals are the cherry on top, and you can tell that Samantha and Clifford put a lot of love and dedication into this place.”

Elisabeth also sent us the loveliest personal message, saying that she felt completely at home in our “little paradise” and could feel our love for the land and animals in every detail. She particularly loved the homemade bread and spending time with our kittens and donkeys — who had clearly stolen her heart! 🤍

“The beautiful view, the furnishings, the area — everything was simply fantastic. The Studio is very private and the surroundings are wonderfully romantic. We were able to relax and explore the area.”

There’s something rather lovely about seeing Finca La Vida through our guests’ eyes. 🤍

Darvin & Jan came to The Studio for a few days of peace, quiet and switching off — and left us these lovely words (and some rather fabulous photographs):

“Everything in and around the studio was made with so much love. It’s super quiet and perfect for a few days of calm and switching off.

The animals are a lovely bonus on top, the donkeys are so cute and absolutely love a cuddle. 🫏

Samantha and Clifford were super friendly, open to helping with anything we needed, and just lovely people!

Would highly recommend for some proper time off!”
