Fancy escaping to Spain for a creative week before the year is over?
We have just three week-long Mosaic Holidays remaining at Tara Casa in 2026:
10th – 17th October
17th – 24th October
4th – 11th December
If you’ve been thinking about joining us, these are the final dates available this year.
Spend 7 nights at Tara Casa near Cartagena, with four mosaic workshop days, relaxed tuition with Dan, materials, home-cooked meals and plenty of time to enjoy the pool, explore Cartagena or head to the coast.
Complete beginners are very welcome, and solo travellers often join us.
You’ll choose your own design and create a mosaic to take home, with help throughout the week.
The October weeks are perfect for some late Spanish sunshine, while the December week is a lovely chance to escape the cold, slow down and do something creative before Christmas.
Places are limited and once these weeks are full, that’s it for 2026.

During your stay you’ll have four mosaic days — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday — with plenty of time in between to relax by the pool, enjoy the gardens or explore the area.
Create your own beautiful mosaic on wood, with help and guidance throughout. No previous mosaic or artistic experience is needed.
Stay with us at Tara Casa in a single, double or twin ensuite bedroom, with our private pool and peaceful gardens.
On your free days you could explore the ancient city of Cartagena, visit the beautiful local beaches, or simply stay at Tara Casa and relax. Optional massage, therapies and guided walks are also available.
Getting here
✈️ Fly into Murcia or Alicante Airport and we can help arrange your transfers.
🚆 Fly into Madrid and enjoy the train journey across Spain.
🎨 Or fly into Barcelona, spend a little time discovering the incredible mosaics of Gaudí, then continue your journey south.
Arrive on Saturday or Sunday and settle in before the mosaic days begin.
