Fiesta de Xarel lo in Cunit 11/6 -22 where you can taste some exelent wine from the area!

The flagship grape variety in the Penedès is Xarel•lo, that is made into two main styles of wine: Unoaked whites, which are floral and fruity with aromas of white flowers and typical fruit. Well balanced and ideal for fish and white meats.

For oaked Xarel•los, they may have fermented in oak barrels or been aged in oak after fermenting in stainless steel tanks. Normally oaked Xarel•los are more complex, with aromas of white flowers, toasted notes vanilla depending on the kind of oak used.
