☀️🔥 CAN WE HIT 40°C AGAIN TODAY?

Good morning, Spain Lovers! ❤️🇪🇸

After temperatures reached the 40°C mark yesterday, the big question this Saturday morning is: can we do it again today? 🌡️🔥

One thing is clear: parts of Andalucía will once again be among the hottest areas in Europe today.

🔥 Another exceptionally hot day in the south

Our latest ICON-EU forecast shows the highest temperatures concentrated across inland Andalucía and Extremadura.

So, will somewhere touch 40°C again? The model values on our map remain just below it, but with yesterday's heat still in place and very high temperatures expected again, a local 40°C reading cannot be ruled out. We'll be watching the observations closely! 👀🌡️

🌊 Perfect late-summer Saturday on many coasts
Along the coasts, some patches of early morning fog or low cloud are possible locally. But as the morning progresses, sunshine should increasingly take over, leaving many holiday regions with another beautiful late-summer Saturday. ☀️🏖️

And the sea is still wonderfully warm in many places! 🌊❤️

Right now, the buoys are reporting around 22.6°C off Málaga, a very warm 26.4°C at Dragonera near Mallorca, around 26°C off Valencia and Barcelona, and approximately 25°C around Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Whether you're spending the day on the Costa del Sol, Mallorca, the Costa Blanca, the Canaries or somewhere inland — enjoy your Saturday! 😎🇪🇸

🍂🇪🇸 WELCOME TO ASTRONOMICAL AUTUMN IN SPAIN — BUT SUMMER ISN’T READY TO LEAVE! ☀️🔥

Today, 23 September, we welcome the astronomical autumn in Spain.

Yesterday we came very close to the 40°C mark in Galicia and Andalusia, and although today’s temperatures should remain just below that symbolic threshold, another spectacular late-summer day is ahead. 🌡️🔥

According to our latest meteo365.es ICON-EU forecast, the hottest conditions will once again be found across western and southern Spain.

🌴 Excellent weather in many holiday regions

Spain’s popular Mediterranean destinations can look forward to wonderfully warm conditions.

🍂 Autumn on the calendar — summer in the thermometer!

So, despite the official arrival of astronomical autumn, Spain is enjoying another remarkably warm late-September day. For holidaymakers in many of the major tourism regions, it means fantastic outdoor weather, whether you are heading to the beach, enjoying a terrace or exploring Spain’s beautiful towns and countryside. ☀️🏖️🚶‍♀️

And summer may have another surprise waiting for us…

🔥 It will remain very warm for the time being, and Friday and/or Saturday could bring another opportunity to challenge the 40°C mark. We’ll keep watching the forecasts closely!

🇪🇸☀️ GOOD MORNING, SPAIN LOVERS – SUMMER ISN’T DONE WITH US YET!

Good morning, Spain Lovers! ❤️🇪🇸

We’re starting the fourth week of September, and despite the calendar moving towards autumn, Spain is holding firmly onto its late-summer feeling. ☀️🌴

🍂 Astronomical autumn begins this week, but judging by the temperatures, you may barely notice it. The overall weather pattern continues to favour plenty of warmth, and later this week we may even see temperatures approaching the 40°C mark again in parts of Andalucía or Extremadura.

🌡️ Monday already brings serious heat inland. Our ICON-EU forecast shows highs around 34°C in Badajoz, Plasencia, Sevilla and Córdoba, with around 32°C in Madrid, Valencia, Huelva and parts of Galicia. Tortosa could also reach approximately 34°C.

Along the Mediterranean holiday coast it’s a little more comfortable: around 30°C in Barcelona and Murcia, 28°C in Benidorm and Almería, 27°C in Ibiza and 28°C in Palma. Málaga is notably fresher at around 26°C today. 🌊⛱️

💨 The wind is another feature to watch. Most of Spain sees fairly moderate gusts, but conditions become much livelier towards the Strait of Gibraltar. Around Cádiz gusts may reach roughly 56 km/h, increasing to around 65 km/h near Tarifa. So if you’re heading to the beaches around Cádiz or the Strait, expect a noticeably breezier day. 🌬️🌊

☀️ The bigger picture: summer weather is certainly not finished yet. Warm to hot afternoons will remain an important part of the story this week, particularly across southern and western Spain. And yes – another push towards 40°C later in the week is something we’ll be watching closely.
