Day 2 of ANCHORED: Writer’s residency 🌊
The day began with a morning walk along the island, before gathering at el Nido for conversations around the writing life, the creative process, the discipline of showing up, honing your craft and finding your own voice.
One-to-one sessions offered time to sit with feedback, revisit ideas and look more closely at each writer’s work. In the afternoon, we headed to Simona Colzi’s atelier and casita to explore the world of natural dyes and learn more about her process, the materials she works with and the thinking behind her practice.
A day of walking, writing, sharing ideas and getting into the details of what it means to make work that feels truly your own.

Anchored: Writer’s Residency 🌊 Día 2
El día comenzó con un paseo matutino por la isla, antes de reunirnos en el Nido para conversar sobre el oficio de escribir: el proceso creativo, la disciplina de escribir, perfeccionar la técnica y encontrar una voz propia.
Las sesiones individuales nos dieron tiempo para revisar el feedback, volver sobre las ideas y profundizar en el trabajo de cada escritor. Por la tarde, nos acercamos al taller de Simona Colzi para descubrir el mundo de los tintes naturales y conocer más de cerca su proceso, los materiales con los que trabaja y la filosofía que hay detrás de su práctica.
Un día de paseos, escritura, conversaciones e intercambio de ideas, prestando atención a los detalles y a todo lo que hay detrás de cada proceso creativo.
