Last day today after 11 days here. The weather has been very nice while we've been here after what all the locals have said has been the worst winter in the canaries in around 15 years.

It's our first time in the house since the summer following my redundancy last year and it was great to be back.

Lastnight me and the wife ate in Fado Rock, €30 for a large beer, water, mixed grill and a pizza. Plus the bread and cheese for starters. It would nearly cost you that for the beer and water in our local town 🤣

We still have plenty of availability for the rest of the year. There are also some very good flights for those that have a May half term a week after the rest of the country. End of May to the first week of June, flights were £60 return yesterday,

We fly home tonight :(
