Just 20 minutes from us, the beautiful Lake Bermejales offers a different pace of Andalucía.


Clear air, open skies, and miles of quiet walking trails around the water and into the surrounding hills. It's an easy half-day escape or a full day if you take a picnic and slow things down.

This is the side of Granada most visitors never see.

Stay with us and we'll point you to the best routes, quiet spots, and simple ways to enjoy it properly.

This weekend looks like it's going to be a lively one in Santa Cruz del Comercio…

The is in town, bringing a full day of hard enduro riding just down the road from us. If you've never seen it before, it's worth a look -- proper local event, tough terrain, and a good atmosphere.

Main bits to know:

Bikes start heading out from around 10:00 (hard enduro)
Afternoon enduro kicks off around 13:30
Trophies around 16:00
There's usually food on (paella etc.)

If you're staying with us and fancy something different for a few hours, it's an easy trip and a good way to see a bit of local life.


Then back to peace and quiet afterwards… pool and a cold drink !
