Just a short drive from our apartment in Guardamar, you’ll find one of the most unique places near Torrevieja - Laguna Rosa.

A pink salt lake, open views and fresh salty air that make this place feel completely different from the usual beach stops.

The salt lakes are known for creating a special microclimate in the area - and many visitors love that calm, “breathe a little deeper” feeling you get here.

It’s not just a beautiful photo spot. It’s a lovely short trip when you want to experience a different side of Costa Blanca.

🌊 A trip to Tabarca is one of those experiences you remember long after your holiday ends.
From Santa Pola, you can take a boat to the island, and the journey itself takes only about 25 minutes. In no time, it feels like you’ve arrived somewhere completely different.

🏝️ Tabarca is the only inhabited island in the Valencian Community, and besides its beautifully clear water, it has a very special charm of its own - little streets, a small harbour, historic walls and that relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer.

🤿 One interesting fact is that the waters around Tabarca became the first marine reserve in Spain, which is one of the reasons the island is so well known for its underwater life and crystal-clear sea.

📜 And for anyone who loves a place with a story, Tabarca has one too - in the 18th century, a settlement was established here for Genoese families who had been rescued from the Tunisian island of Tabarka.

✨ For us, it’s a beautiful tip for a day out when you want to explore more during your stay - not just enjoy the apartment, the sea and the pool, but also discover another side of the Costa Blanca.
