After more than 25 years of nurturing Cas Gasi, I find myself at the cusp of a new chapter—a transition that feels less like an ending and more like an evolution. Cas Gasi has always been a labor of love, a sanctuary of peace and creativity where the essence of Ibiza thrived in every corner.
Over the past eight years, a slow-burning love story has unfolded between Cas Gasi and Soho House. They have been guests, admirers, and, above all, kindred spirits. It feels only natural that they now take the helm, bringing their own vibrant energy while maintaining the ethos and spirit that define this beloved place.

This is not a goodbye to Cas Gasi. What changes is the stewardship, as Soho House steps in to continue this journey with their unique ability to bring people together in meaningful ways.

Together, we share a vision of holistic well-being, where culture, creativity, and community are at the heart of every experience. From shared meals and lively conversations to moments of tranquility and wellness, Cas Gasi leaves fertile ground for Soho House to build upon.

I am profoundly happy with this transition, knowing that Cas Gasi will continue to inspire and nurture under their care. This is not the end, but rather a continuation of the story—one that will always holds a place in my heart.

On May 24th, 2016, I published a blog post that marked the beginning of a thought—one that has now come full circle.
The invisible members club
Originally private members clubs were used as a retreat for the aristocratic class while in the city. Often they were also a way for men to gather to partake in gambling and other dubious pursuits although some clubs reached for loftier memberships involved in politics, science or the arts. More recently there has been a resurgence in the private members club scene. London, New York, Berlin and even more exotic locations have seen emblematic entities such as Soho House establish clubs.
While Cas Gasi is not technically a member’s club, it operates on a similar basis. Cas Gasi connects with people in ways that bigger hotels are unable. With its relaxed and luxurious ambience it is very much like a second home where everything and everyone is familiar. Being Ibiza, things are kept casual, naturally.

Once upon a time, 25 years ago, nestled in a beautiful valley in the heart of Ibiza, an ancient finca dating back to 1880 began its transformation. In 2003, owner Margaret von Korff lovingly opened the doors of this family estate, transforming it into the luxury boutique hotel Cas Gasi, a sanctuary that would capture hearts from around the world. What began as a family residence soon blossomed into a place where guests from every corner of the globe came to find peace, beauty, and connection. Cas Gasi grew into an ever-expanding circle filled with a dedicated team, laughter, love, and shared memories—all of which made this place so special.
