UK International Travel List Update

Huge news coming in this evening with the UK Government announcing that Ibiza has been added to the UK’s Green Travel List!🚦 This news is massive for all of us on The White Isle who cannot wait to welcome the floods of UK tourists that we are undoubtedly about to see.

What does this mean for all of you from the UK coming to Ibiza?
No negative PCR test required upon arrival
No masks required in outdoor spaces from this Saturday!
No quarantine required upon returning to the UK
Only a negative PCR test will be required for anyone that has not been fully vaccinated

No longer will it cost tourists upwards of £300 for PCR tests and test to release packages. UK citizens can now come over to enjoy themselves freely without the need to worry about missing extra days of work due to quarantine. More places across the island have been opening every day as it is and this news will only increase the amount of amazing venues set to open with some big hitters already set to open over the next two weeks👀

Spain COVID-19 Entry Requirements Reduced

Great news for all UK nationals, as today marks the first day this year that Spain is allowing those travelling from the UK to enter without a PCR test. Very positive sign for travel and tourism for the rest of the summer in Ibiza, as with less restrictions more people will have the option to travel. Each day we are getting one step closer to the summers we all love on The White Isle☀️

From 00:00 on 24 May, arrivals from the UK are no longer subject to testing requirements unless they have travelled to a country on Spain’s list of ‘risk’ countries in the 14 days prior to travel to Spain.

Ibiza International Travel Update

Breaking news in today states that with the UK Government set to utilise a traffic light system for international travel, Ibiza and the Balearic Islands will be classified with a GREEN LIGHT!

What will a green light mean for international travel?
The green light will mean that when returning to the UK, only a negative PCR test and locator form will be required, as opposed to the previously implemented quarantine rule.

IBIZA Summer 2021

Following on from the positive news of Boris Johnson’s road map to easing COVID-19 restrictions yesterday, IBZ Workers are encouraging bookings for the Ibiza 2021 season☀️

At the earliest, International Travel will be permitted as of 17th May so we will be taking bookings for all UK residents from this date. Although we are optimistic that travel will start again on this date, we understand that given the current climate the situation can change at any moment. This is why every booking made with IBZ Workers is covered by our COVID-19 guarantee so that you can book with confidence, knowing that your money is safe. In the event that travel restrictions prevent you arriving in Ibiza within one month of your arrival date, all payments made to IBZ Workers will be refunded in full.
