The secret to paddleboarding in Jávea? Go early.

Just after sunrise, before the heat builds, the sea lies as still as glass. Step onto your board, push off from the shore, and glide along a coastline that's all yours, hidden coves, golden cliffs and nothing but the sound of the water beneath you.

Sunday in Jávea, and it's a scorcher.

So here's our favourite way to beat the heat: swap the sun lounger for a kayak.

Paddle out from the beautiful Granadella beach and the coast opens up in a way you'll never see from land. Glide into Cala del Llop Marí, the Cave of the Sea Wolf, where the rock formations rise straight out of the turquoise water. Then drift on to the Cova dels Òrgens near Ambolo, drop anchor, and snorkel in water so clear you can count the pebbles on the bottom.

Three hours, a few hidden coves, and not a drop of sweat. Just cool water, sea caves and that quiet kind of magic you only find along this coast.

It's gloriously hot here at La Finca right now, and our season is fully booked. We're so grateful to every group that's made this summer unforgettable.
