Learning from living systems 🌱
From October 16 to 18, we’ll spend three days learning from the land with Juã Pereira, exploring regenerative agriculture, agroforestry and syntropic systems through theory, observation and hands-on practice.

We’ll look closely at how living systems are designed, established and cared for in the conditions of Tenerife, observing what is already growing and taking part in the creation of something new.

For us, regeneration begins here: with attention, knowledge, hands in the soil and a willingness to learn from what is alive.

Del 16 al 18 de octubre pasaremos tres días aprendiendo de la tierra junto a Juã Pereira, explorando la agricultura regenerativa, la agroforestería y los sistemas sintrópicos a través de teoría, observación y práctica directa.

Nos acercaremos a cómo se diseñan, implantan y cuidan sistemas vivos adaptados a las condiciones de Tenerife, observando lo que ya está creciendo y participando en la creación de algo nuevo.

Para nosotros, la regeneración empieza aquí: con atención, conocimiento, las manos en la tierra y la disposición de aprender de lo que está vivo. 🌱

On 3 & 4 October, our land will take on a different rhythm.

Together with Co~Nectar • Conscious Festival Tenerife we’re co-creating Co~Nectar, two days for connection, expansion and discovery unfolding across the gardens and gathering spaces of Almaíso.

For this third edition, we’re especially honoured to welcome two international artists, Roaman and Nick Barbachano, bringing their music into the gathering alongside more than 30 facilitators and artists.

Across the weekend, we’ll move between workshops and talks, ceremonies, music, dance, shared meals and open spaces for rest and connection. Different practices, perspectives and ways of exploring will meet here, leaving each of us free to follow what resonates.

We’ll meet here, between mountain and sea, and see what unfolds.

El 3 y 4 de octubre, nuestra tierra tendrá un ritmo diferente.

Junto a Co~Nectar • Conscious Festival Tenerife co-creamos Co~Nectar, dos días de conexión, expansión y descubrimiento que se desplegarán entre los jardines y espacios de encuentro de Almaíso.

Para esta tercera edición, nos hace especial ilusión recibir a dos artistas internacionales, Roaman y Nick Barbachano, que traerán su música al encuentro junto a más de 30 facilitadores y artistas.

Durante el fin de semana, nos moveremos entre talleres y charlas, ceremonias, música, danza, comidas compartidas y espacios abiertos para descansar y conectar. Distintas prácticas, perspectivas y formas de explorar se encontrarán aquí, dejando que cada persona siga aquello que resuene con ella.

Nos encontraremos aquí, entre montaña y mar, y veremos qué surge.

Casa Alvaro begins beneath a century-old pergola, where generations have passed before us. Beyond it, high ceilings, soft light and quiet corners hold the traces of the old finca.

We love this house for the way it feels: calm, intimate, unhurried. A place for slow mornings, shared meals, an afternoon with a book, or simply leaving the doors open and listening to the garden.

A small piece of Almaíso’s history, still being lived today. 🌿

Casa Alvaro comienza bajo una pérgola centenaria, por donde han pasado generaciones antes que nosotros. Al otro lado, techos altos, luz suave y rincones tranquilos conservan las huellas de la antigua finca.

Nos gusta esta casa por cómo se siente: serena, íntima, sin prisa. Un lugar para mañanas lentas, comidas compartidas, una tarde con un libro o simplemente dejar las puertas abiertas y escuchar el jardín.

And for a few hours, we’ll listen to what emerges with it.

Inside our chapel, Saraï O’gara will guide us through an exploration of voice, resonance, improvisation and song, inspired by the solar eclipse passing over us on August 12.

A space to play, to listen, to make sound together and perhaps discover parts of our voice we don’t often hear.

We’ll close with a short sound healing session, allowing the voices to slowly return to silence.

Almaíso Verde began with a vision: to regenerate land depleted by monoculture and rebuild the connection between soil, food and people.

Today, more than 100 plant varieties grow together where there was once only one crop. The land is becoming a living ecosystem again, nourishing our community while creating space for biodiversity to return.

For us, this is where agriculture and hospitality meet. Through the food we grow, the meals we share and the time spent close to the soil, we invite our guests to reconnect with the source of their nourishment.

In the future, what grows here will also be served in our farm-to-table restaurant, bringing the journey from soil to plate to life.

Almaíso Verde is not a finished project. It is a living one, shaped by the seasons, many caring hands and everything the land continues to teach us.

We are still growing. And this is only the beginning. 🌱

Almaíso Verde nació de una visión: regenerar una tierra empobrecida por el monocultivo y reconstruir la conexión entre el suelo, los alimentos y las personas.

Hoy, más de 100 variedades de plantas crecen juntas donde antes había un solo cultivo. La tierra vuelve a convertirse en un ecosistema vivo, alimentando a nuestra comunidad y creando espacio para que regrese la biodiversidad.

Para nosotros, aquí es donde la agricultura y la hospitalidad se encuentran. A través de los alimentos que cultivamos, las comidas que compartimos y el tiempo cerca de la tierra, invitamos a nuestros huéspedes a reconectar con el origen de sus alimentos.

En el futuro, lo que crece aquí también llegará a las mesas de nuestro restaurante farm-to-table, dando vida al recorrido de la tierra al plato.

Almaíso Verde no es un proyecto terminado. Es un proyecto vivo, guiado por las estaciones, muchas manos y todo lo que la tierra continúa enseñándonos.
