There is something beautiful about a 200-year-old house embracing the future ☀️

Hotel Casa Rural Llíber is moving towards running fully on solar energy.

What once depended entirely on the traditional rhythms of village life will soon be powered by the Spanish sun itself — the same sun that lights our terraces, warms the stone walls and fills the Jalón Valley every single day.

For me, this investment is about much more than reducing energy costs.

It is about:
🌿 sustainability
🌿 independence
🌿 preserving the future of this beautiful old house
🌿 and creating a boutique hotel that is both timeless and forward-thinking

My hotel already holds an official energy label C, and with this solar installation I expect to move towards label B — making Hotel Casa Rural Llíber even more future-proof for the years ahead.

In a world where energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important, I believe hospitality can still feel warm, intimate and luxurious while also being conscious and sustainable.
