Starting from today, pre-departure testing will no longer be required for travellers returning to England and arrivals will not have to isolate until they get a negative PCR test, but will instead have to take a lateral flow test at the end of day two after arriving. And, according to Department of Transport, there are currently no countries or territories on the red list for travel to England.

This is good news for travel, and we’re already seeing travel interest taking off after these announcements. Thanks to vaccination and booster jabs, the outlook is far brighter than it was at the start of the pandemic.
