The hardest part of planning a motorcycle route? Finding the balance between how far you ride and how much you truly experience.

Does riding 500 km a day mean you’ve seen more? We honestly don’t think so.

With very few exceptions, like outrunning a storm in Morocco earlier this year, our riding days are usually between 200 and 300 km. And even then, the days are full.

We stop. We wander. We take in the views. We taste the local food, smell the forests, chat with locals, discover places we never planned to spend so much time in, and enjoy long lunches because that’s part of the journey too.

For us, a motorcycle tour is never about getting from A to B. It’s about everything that happens in between.

Every stop has a purpose. Every road is chosen for a reason. Nothing is left to chance, so you can simply relax and immerse yourself in the experience.

The best thing about travelling by motorcycle isn’t the motorcycle.

It’s the way it lets you experience the world.

You don’t just admire the landscape through a window. You become part of it.

You feel the temperature change as you climb a mountain pass. You smell pine forests, lavender fields, the sea, fresh rain and warm earth. You hear rivers, cowbells, birds, and the quiet between them. Every curve brings a different view, a different scent, a different feeling.

Nature isn’t something you pass by.

You ride through it with all your senses.

…every nationality seems to have its own way of handling the restaurant bill. Some race to grab it. Others… don’t. 😁

Of course, it’s all in good fun, but after decades of travelling with people from all over the world, we can’t help noticing these little cultural quirks that make international motorcycle tours so entertaining.

Over the past 23 years, we’ve set off on more than 500 journeys.

Thousands of riders have stood exactly here, just 15 minutes before one of the greatest adventures of their lives. Listening carefully to the guide. Trying to take it all in. Looking around at the people they’ll soon be sharing unforgettable roads, laughter, and stories with. Wondering what lies ahead, knowing that some experiences simply can’t be imagined until you’re living them.

And after all these years, that moment still gives us goosebumps.
