I offer you my years of experience as a hostel owner, but now on a smaller scale. On my doorstep is one of Málaga´s finest gems. Baños del Carmen. The resort of Baños del Carmen was inaugurated on July 16, 1918 , after construction on a former public bath. In those years, public bathrooms were separated for men and women by bath mats that prevented vision. The resort of Baños del Carmen was the fi
rst to break that custom. In 1920 a pier was built and a screen for projecting movies. Its expansion continued with the construction of a restaurant, a gateway and a tennis court (today 5€ a game) where the first tennis tournament was held Málaga . In 1922 it was the first football field of Málaga, which existed until 1941. It also had a dance floor over 2000 m² , where concerts and ballet were offered and festivals were organized, famous summer nights in el baño. Today you can find El Balenario bar and restaurant. Nearby you will discover Pedregalejo, where there is a strip of bars and restaurants located on the water front. Pedregalejo is the epicenter of tourism called Language Málaga and meets one of the largest concentrations of Spanish schools and academies of the country. The high quality of teaching schools of Spanish Pedregalejo is manifested in the large number of accredited by the Instituto Cervantes. The combination of these two features provides the appeal of the city of Málaga in a residential area : beaches, boardwalk, lush palm trees, acacias, jacaranda and a wide range of dining where you can enjoy typical fried fish Malaga and watch the sunset. The apartment also dates back to 1920. Freshly painted and fitted out with essentials for todays traveller. Clean and cosy shared rooms with 4 beds or a twin room, you'll find everything you need here with free internet, great kitchen use, and a comfortable place to chill...so whether it's for only two or three days, or an entire month, don't miss this great opportunity.....
