On this beautiful Blue Monday, Casa Roffa is pretty busy. The B&B is fully booked for the next five weeks, but after that, we've reserved a nice week for just the two of us ❤️

Right now, we have four happy guests, plus a hyperactive dog who's just come running with his ball for the five hundred and eighty-seventh time. "Throw it!!!" Phew...
We're certainly not bored 😁

On the roof terrace, some workers are here today and tomorrow to install a new heat pump for the pool, the pipes for which need to be concealed in the walls. Quite a lot of work, and especially noisy this morning.

Today, while our guests enjoy the beach, we bought new green additions to the rooftop terrace. Again.

Vandaag Joachim, onze laatste gast voor het lenteseizoen, uitgezwaaid.

Nu drie weken kleine en grote klussen, onszelf klaarmaken voor de terugreis naar Nederland en zeker tussendoor nog volop genieten van het Spaanse leven!

After weeks and weeks of hard work and late nights writing, designing, creating content etc., we can finally announce that our website is online from this moment:

It is exactly how we had it in mind. A beautiful design, easy to navigate and filled with useful information.
Easy-to-use booking- and reservation tools, guest reviews and picture-/video galleries: it's all there.

We could not have done this without the talent and help of photographer Olga van Dijk and webcreator Andre van Campenhout (Gers!). Thank you both!

Today, March 16th 2024, we celebrate Maspalomas Carnaval with the traditional Carnaval Parade in Playa del Inglés, from 17.00-20.00 hrs.
Temperature was rising to fever pitch, everybody was having a great time and the costumes were amazing.
Tonight, the party will continue in Yumbo till very, very late! Have fun everybody!

One of the things that we've been working on the last few months is (finally) getting our website done.
It sounds like an easy job, but it's not.
Believe me :-)

But with the help of photographer Olga van Dijk and websitecreator Andre van Campenhout (Gers!) we managed to design a beautiful, inviting and informative website containing everything there is to know about Casa Roffa Maspalomas, from the very first idea in 2019 to the opening in 2023, guest room presentations, booking and reservation tools, photo-/video galleries, guest reviews and much more. We're very excited about it!

If things go as planned we expect to go online within a few days.
We'll send out a message when we're popping the champagne!

Carnaval in Maspalomas! Dat betekent 10 dagen feest, van 7 tot 17 maart. Epicentrum -maar ook het episch centrum- van de feestelijkheden is Yumbo, en dat zit iedere avond echt bomvol. Komend weekend (zaterdag) is het hoogtepunt, de Carnaval Parade waarbij er zo'n 400.000 mensen worden verwacht.

Iedereen die op het eiland is: heel veel plezier gewenst!
