n your bike like mad as you follow in Contador’s footsteps. However, we also know the most beautiful bay for snorkelling and of course the one with the best food. We will serve up for you:
For breakfast, there will be an Andalusian tostada with tomato, salt, and olive oil. Jams, yogurt creations, and orange juice – served with fruit from our garden. At our gourmet evenings, we are going to serve you locally sourced products. Lamb from the neighbouring village meets spices of our Moorish heritage. Freshly caught fish finds its way into the paella pan. And we always recommend the right w**e that goes along with it …

Quiet & relaxation for adults only:
A holiday during which you only do what YOU want to do: Lie by the pool all day, enjoy a relaxing massage, eat a bowl of delicious chilled gazpacho for lunch and dip your warm bread in olive oil …

Craving a glass of w**e along with your lunch? No problem! “Adults Only” means no loud children and not having to act as a role model 🙂

You don’t come to Cortijo El Sarmiento in Mojácar just for a beautiful place to sleep. You come here for the evenings you didn’t plan. 🌿🇪🇸

Hidden in the hills near Mojácar, Almería, this small adults-only boutique B&B might be one of those Andalusian hidden gems you only hear about from someone who’s actually stayed there.

And the best part?

The dinner parties.

Before dinner, guests slowly gather around the honesty bar by the pool. Yvonne and Carsten pour a drink, the first little bites arrive from the kitchen and suddenly people who were strangers that morning are sitting together, talking about travel, food and life.

Then everyone comes together around the table.

No anonymous hotel buffet.
No disappearing into separate corners.

Just a handful of guests, regional ingredients, Andalusian flavours, good w**e and conversations that somehow last much longer than dinner itself.

The food stays close to the traditions of Andalusia and southern Spain. Vegetarian options are possible, while the kitchen deliberately focuses on regional products rather than trying to become everything for everyone.

And yes — that includes traditional Spanish Ibérico.
