Womanship reTREAT
Wed 16th – Tues 22nd Sept 2026
Almond Hill House, Alpujarras, Southern Spain

For women who hold space for others.
Now we hold space for you.

A small and intimate group of women will gather in the Andalusian hills at for a six-night boutique reTREAT designed for deep rest, reconnection and nervous-system reset.

Carefully created by Nicolette, founder and CCO of , this retreat was born from her own desire to create a space for the women who so often support everyone else — a space where they can Share More, Worry Less, and be gently held in return.

The first two days are left completely open.
No alarms. No structured sessions. No pressure to participate or perform.

Just time to sleep deeply, drift between the pool and olive trees, read, walk, rest, and slowly reconnect with yourself at your own pace, surrounded by mountain views, stillness and space to breathe.

Rather than following a fixed programme, the retreat unfolds gently around the women who are there. Breathwork, reflective practices and a floating sound bath experience are woven through the week alongside nourishing chef-prepared meals, meaningful conversations, gentle movement and long unhurried afternoons.

Optional massages, mountain walks, beach visits and creative workshops are available for those who feel drawn to explore further.

From Day 3 onwards, there is space for gentle energy exchange — an invitation to offer a reflection, practice, question or conversation if it feels natural. Always as an offering, never an expectation.

This week is created especially for therapists, coaches, facilitators, carers, wellbeing practitioners, and women who spend much of their lives supporting others emotionally.

All sessions are invitational, and you are never required to be anything other than a guest.

There is nothing to teach, prove, optimise or perform.
This is a space to soften.
To rest.
To reconnect.
To reTREAT.

Applications and waiting list now open — no membership necessary

Last week we hosted our very first Yoga & Writing Retreat — Lines of Breath — with and

For one beautiful week, Almond Hill House became a space for movement, creativity, storytelling and connection. Mornings began with gentle yoga practices on the pool terrace, where Liz guided guests to slow down and move consciously between each posture, creating an atmosphere that felt welcoming, nurturing and deeply grounding.

Afternoons in The Studio unfolded through writing workshops, laughter, vulnerability and discovery in the skilled hands of Mary Jo. Through memoir prompts, sensory writing and playful “writing sprees,” participants were encouraged to let go of perfectionism and simply write — following unexpected thoughts and memories wherever they wanted to lead.

Throughout the week it was so special seeing everyone wander the grounds and orchard with notebooks tucked beneath their arms, pausing under olive and lemon trees to capture thoughts, memories and observations.

One of the most memorable moments unfolded in the orchard. Each participant chose a lemon and spent time truly observing it — its scent, texture, colour and imperfections — before writing from pure sensation and memory. Sitting amongst the trees with birdsong and mountain air all around, what began as a playful exercise became something unexpectedly meaningful, and the lemons remained a talking point for the rest of the week.

As darkness settled in, evenings unfolded with cosy shared dinners, stories, folksongs and laughter around the table, before ending softly with meditation or Yoga Nidra by candlelight in The Studio.

Throughout it all, everyone was nourished by beautiful vegetarian meals lovingly prepared by our wonderful chef

A truly special week of breath, words, movement and connection. We’re already looking forward to welcoming Liz and Mary Jo back for the next Yoga & Writing Retreat in Spring 2027

March and April are when the wisteria really comes into its own Almond Hill House — and this year it’s the best we’ve seen. After a wetter winter, fertilising and careful pruning, the blooms are bigger, fuller, and hanging in abundant long, soft lilac clusters across the terrace.

There’s a constant hum of bees and insects throughout the day, drawn to the stunning scent that hangs in the air. It’s one of those simple, unmistakable signs that spring has properly arrived.

Each day brings small changes — fresh green leaves slowly appearing alongside the opening blossoms, adding to the feeling of everything waking up again.

The main Guest House terrace, Wisteria’s private terrace and the seating area by the pool are easy places to settle into — shaded, fragrant and calm. And as the season moves on, the leaves thicken into cool canopies, creating natural spots for long, slow afternoons.

To truly understand the impact of WeLikeToHelp and its role in the local community, we visited the slum area where many of the students live.

Nothing quite prepares you for it. Families live in hand-built shacks, surrounded by piles of rubbish, visible pollution and unsafe water—it’s deeply confronting. And yet, what stands out just as strongly is the warmth. The smiles. The genuine sense of welcome and gratitude for the opportunity that WeLikeToHelp brings.

We were invited into homes where entire families—sometimes up to ten people—share a single small space to cook, eat, and sleep. Despite the challenges, there’s a powerful sense of togetherness. Joy is contagious. Children are playful, curious, and full of life, proudly showing what they’ve learned and created.

At the centre of this is education. Students come to WeLikeToHelp with boundless enthusiasm and energy—three hours a day, six days a week—learning subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Geography, alongside Arts & Crafts and environmental awareness. Their days are also filled with movement and expression through dance, football, and self-defence.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.
WeLikeToHelp is only possible through your donations. Any amount goes a long way to educating underprivileged children.

Becky recently returned to India and made a meaningful visit to a project very close to her heart—WeLikeToHelp, a school supporting underprivileged children.

The story began in 2020, after meeting a local guy who came recommended. What started as an unforgettable day navigating Himalayan mountain roads on a scooter quickly turned into a lasting connection with the kind and generous Shobit who also has his own remarkable personal story.

During the Covid pandemic, when local schools closed down, WeLikeToHelp began humbly in Shobit’s small bedroom with just five students. Today, it has grown into something truly remarkable—supporting 120 students with a dedicated team of 10 teachers, covering classes from 1st to 12th grade, all made possible through donations and long-term sponsorship.

With the unwavering support of her dear friend Daniel they have proudly sponsored this incredible project for the past six years. Visiting together and witnessing its impact firsthand was nothing short of magical.

WeLikeToHelp goes far beyond education. The children receive a nutritious meal six days a week, ensuring they are cared for both inside and outside the classroom. The team also supports families within the local community when challenges arise, while encouraging students to aim high—academically and personally—and to grow with awareness of environmental issues.

🙏🏼✨

If this story resonates with you, please consider supporting. WeLikeToHelp is only possible through donations, and every contribution—no matter the size—helps provide education, care, and opportunity for these children.
